Tesla Roadster Game: Fly to Mars, Free in Your Browser
▶ PLAY FREE NOWNo download · Phone, tablet or PC · About 1 minute per run
Fly, Roadster! is a free, fan-made Tesla Roadster game you can play right in your browser. It was built the week the next-generation Roadster was revealed, around the idea everyone kept talking about: a sports car with rocket-style air thrusters that can actually fly. Launch off a giant vertical ramp, blast over traffic jams, eat Elon heads for turbo and race to Mars.

How to play the Tesla Roadster game
The car accelerates by itself, so you only need three buttons:
- ◀ ▶ change lanes (arrow keys or A/D on PC)
- FLY hold to fire the air thrusters and lift off (Space on PC)
- Land on car roofs to stomp them and bounce to the next one
Your goal: collect at least 5 of the 10 Elon heads on the 3 km road, then hit the Mars launch pad. Every head adds a booster for the launch. With five or more you blast off to Mars and land in the Musk Empire; with fewer, the launch fails in a funny way. Hit too many people and a flying police Roadster comes after you, and while you are in the air, flying Doges try to knock you down.
Tips to reach Mars faster
- Turbo is everything. Elon heads and big ramps give 2 seconds of turbo, small ramps and roof stomps give 1 second. Turbo stacks up to 4 seconds, so space your pickups instead of grabbing them all at once.
- Take every ramp. Ramps refill your FLY fuel completely and add turbo. Some heads float right on the ramp's flight path.
- Chain roof stomps over traffic jams. Landing on a roof bounces you up, so you can hop from car to car without touching the road.
- Fly low. Speed you gain with turbo is kept while you are in the air, but above 2.5 m the Doges start coming.
- Never hit cars from the side. Side crashes cost a lot of speed. The top players finish with zero crashes.
World records
The leaderboard is a pure time attack to Mars, measured to 0.01 seconds. Within the first two days the best players were already at 56.67 seconds, averaging almost 200 km/h with a top speed of about 257 km/h. The physical limit, with turbo on for the whole run, is about 55.3 seconds, so a 55-second run is still out there.
